Lonely Planet

The Lonely Planet guide to Jamaica follows the familiar format that regular users of this series of guides will be well acquainted with. For each of the main destinations in Jamaica there are sections on the history of the area, where to eat, where to stay, what to see, what to do and how to get there and away. Many other, smaller, destinations are also covered (naturally in lesser detail).

There are also large sections at the front of the guide covering useful information about Jamaica (such as history, climate, economy, politics etc) and facts for the visitor (such as how to get around, details about local food and drink, what to pack and when to go).
