You can experience the life of a real Jamaican fisherman with Duke at Winter Fresh fishing charters. Duke runs full or half day fishing trips on board the "Winter Fresh I", a traditional wooden panga fishing boat or, for larger trips, the "Winter Fresh II" which is glass bottomed. All fishing equipment is provided or, if you prefer, you can bring your own. You are also free to bring your own food and a cooler of drinks on board.
Alternatively non-fishing trips are offered, if you just want to take a boat trip around Negril and want a more intimate and authentically Jamaican experience than the big "Party Cruise" boats. Winter Fresh trips can put together trips which include visits to a secluded beach or island for a picnic and tours along the coast of Negril.
Trips are customised to meet your needs. You can be picked up at the beach of your hotel and set a trip for as long as you would like. Experienced fishermen may want to specify which fish they are hoping to hook and Duke will try to locate the best reef to find this kind of fish (although there can be no guarantees about the catch)!
Any fish you catch you can bring back to your hotel for the chef to cook, throw back in to the sea or leave it with Duke who will make sure it finds a good home!
