La Vendome is a French / Jamaican fusion restaurant on the 7 mile beach of Negril's Long Bay. La Vendome is known for French dishes such as crepes, frois gras and snails, Jamaican dishes like curried goat and fusion flavours such as shrimp in garlic sauce. The restaurant is part of the Charlea Inn hotel but is open to non-guests.

Home grown tastes

Most of the food served at La Vendome is home grown or homemade. La Vendome has its own farm where the fruit and vegetables are grown and the poultry is raised. Bread and pastries are freshly baked every day and ice cream is homemade on site.

Entertainment

One of the draw cards of La Vendome is the live entertainment, performed twice a week. Thursday night is jazz and blues night, performed by a Negril-based band. There is a cultural show on Saturday nights, featuring traditional Jamaican music (such as mento and kumina), performed by musicians and dancers in traditional costume. It is not necessary to eat at La Vendome to enjoy the entertainment, you are free to enjoy the show whilst drinking at the bar.
