Albert George Market - Falmouth

The Albert and George market was established just off Water Square in 1895. The market was a hub of activity and anything could be bought here. The market gets its name from Queen Victoria's two sons - Albert and George. Nowadays the market sells mainly crafts and produce. To give a flavour of the market's historic setting there are several antique artifacts on display in the market such as stills and crushing wheels.
