Cornwall Beach - Gloucester Avenue
The newest addition to the Montego Bay beach scene is Cornwall Beach. Cornwall Beach used to be a public beach, it was closed for refurbishment for several years and has recently been reopened as a private beach, visitors now need to pay a small fee to enter.
Cornwall Beach is smaller and usually less crowded than neighboring Doctor's Cave Beach.
The beach has all of the amenities you would expect to find in a private beach:
- Changing facilities
- Showers
- Bathrooms
- A bar
- Cafe
- Life guards
In addition, Corwnall Beach has
- A beach volleyball court
- A Japanese style water garden
- A floral garden
- Lockers
- Water toys (such as a giant floating "Saturn ring")
- Glass bottom boat rides
