Fonthill Beach Park

Fonthill Beach Park, St. Elizabeth

Fonthill Beach Park, St. Elizabeth Fonthill Beach Park - on the border of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth parishes

The Fonthill Beach Park is a small but perfectly kept stretch of gold sand beach. The beach is rarely visited by tourists but is popular with Jamaicans, particularly at weekends. The turquoise sea has a roped off section for safe swimming which is watched over by lifeguards. Beyond the rope is a reef which is a good spot for snorkeling.

There is a small fee to enter the Fonthill Beach Park, this entitles you to use the beach, showers, changing facilities, toilets and gazebo-covered picnic tables.

The beach park is owned and run by the Petroleum Company of Jamaica and is part of the Fonthill Wildlife Sanctuary.
