The Passage to India restaurant in Ocho Rios is one of the most highly regarded Indian restaurants in Jamaica. The restaurant targets the high end of the market with a menu which caters for the more discerning (and affluent) diner. Passage to India is elegantly decorated with wooden furniture and hanging lamps, there is also an Indian-style bar with sea view in the restaurant for those wishing to take an aperitif before dinner.

The restaurant is highly regarded for its authentic Indian cuisine and has won numerous awards from the Gleaner newspaper since it opened in 1999. The restaurant also serves a range or popular Indo-Chinese fusion dishes including Sichuan-style shrimp and ginger chicken. Other specialities include Lobster Butter Masala, Murg Mumtaz, Chicken Afghani and the Passage to India Thali (a selection of vegetarian dishes and sides).
