The Portland Art Gallery has occupied its spot in the old Port Antonio Railway Station building since 2004. The gallery specialises in fine arts, landscapes, portraits and signs for local businesses.

The Portland Art Gallery is run by Hopeton Cargill, a self trained artist from Mount Pleasant with 14 years of experience. Mr Cargill is joined by one other professional artist and several assistants from all over Portland who are receiving training from the two professionals. The gallery is open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and sometimes open beyond these hours if there is work to be done!
