Act II is a popular New Kingston budget eatery which is a popular breakfast and lunch spot for people working in the city.

The restaurant serves a selection of traditional Jamaican dishes such as fried chicken, stewed peas and ackee and saltfish. The menu changes daily and is written up on a whiteboard by the counter, once a dish has sold out it gets rubbed off the board.

The food at Act II is filling, usually served with lots of starches (yam, banana, dumplings etc with breakfast and rice and peas with lunch) for those looking for some hearty sustenance for the day.

Takeaways and deliveries are also popular. It is quite a common sight to see the Act II delivery staff cycling around New Kingston during the day.

Act II also has a restaurant in downtown Kingston (59 1/2 Duke Street - call 948-1566).
