Having already showcased her Jamaican roots, Tessanne chin choose a very different track for the second song of the "top 6" show. The song she chose was Katy Perry's "Unconditionally", which Perry released shortly only before this show was aired on 2 December 2013.

The judges made the following comments about her performance:

• Adam Levine - "Your ability is just so crazy off the charts that every single word you are saying, I'm always so drawn in, you never let me down and you always impress me"
• Blake Shelton - "You are a world class vocalist", "I haven't seen anything quite like you on this show, it's amazing"
